Feathers in our Caps

The media loves Ladies in hats: Thus we are regularly featured in local newspapers and magazines, (The Post and Courier, Charleston City Paper, and Charleston Magazine) as well as national publications: Creative Home described us as "...a volunteer brigade of stylish Ladies who are making a difference," while others have called us: "fashionable ambassadors" and "elegantly civic-minded." Two international magazine, Hat Mag and Hatlines have recognized us, with Hatlines giving us a two page spread.

We are welcomed on all major and cable TV and radio stations when we have an event to publicize

The community appreciates what we do: Two of the most prestigious acknowledgements are:

The "2012 Community Catalyst Award," the equivalent of an Oscar of The Lowcountry, by Charleston Magazine and Coastal Community Foundation during Philanthropy Week.

The "2018 Spotlight Award," created in memory of the 9 beautiful souls of Mother Emanual AME who were murdered by a white supremacist, to send the message people should be recognized for the good they do when they are alive.
