HAT DECORATING AT PATTISON ACADEMY

Pattison Academy will improve the quality of life for children with multiple disabilities by providing comprehensive education and rehabilitation programs.

The Hat Ladies have been been involved in their Summer Camp from the beginning, decorating hats according to the theme for their Festival.  This year the theme was The Olympics.  So out came our red, white, and GLUE (guns:>).  And here are some of their reflections on the experience:

"I am so glad I could join y'all for the decorating and lunch!  It is always rewarding to see the children's reactions and smiles."

"It is an honor to help at Pattison."

"My granddaughter and I enjoyed the opportunity to spend time at Pattison's School....I was so impressed with the Staff who took care of these beautiful children with such dedication and skill.  It is a difficult job."

Volunteerism
