Supporting Events Around TowSupporting Events Around Town
The Hat Ladies always pride ourselves on being in "Style." We strive to keep up with "things" besides the latest fashions. We are sensitive to and supportive of wHAT's going on in and around our beloved Charleston.
COVID caused any number of changes, especially events, which we call "Hat-pin-ings." Our entire 25 year history is filled with examples of our being VOLUNTEERS for worthwhile causes. All are featured on this website. However, many such events or even organizations were eliminated or reconfigured to meet their needs vis a vis the pandemic.
While The Hat Ladies will always strive to be available to lend support /volunteer for non profit causes, we are now tossing our hats into attending and supporting existing cultural, educational, social, medical programs in our beloved City.
They are presented in chronological order, with the MOST RECENT first:
BREAST CANCER FASHION SHOW AND FUNDRAISER
We were fortunate to read about this Event, which has existed for six years now, in time to "round up" six beautifully pink hatted sisters who could attend. Now tHAT it's on our radar, more of us should be able to attend. "Bittersweet" as such an Event is, it was literally uplifting for us all.

Thank you for providing the opportunity to attend The Pink Promenade! Absolutely an amazing learning experience about Breast Cancer. To witness the stories shared was a moving experience! The Mt. Pleasant Towne Center's shops, Burton's Grill and Bar appetizers and cocktails were over the top. Sweet Jassmine Flower Bouquets brought their best selves to making this Event over the top! So hatpy that a Sister won one of the raffle giveaways! (Kathy)
